Project Context

In this project, I used Python for data exploration and consolidated the insights in Tableau in an attempt to understand the impact of COVID-19 on global health purely from a data perspective.

The progress achieved against COVID-19 should be important to leaders as they establish policies and strategies moving forward.

The dataset for COVID-19, which includes 207 country profiles from February 2020 to September 2022, is available here.

This project follows a five-step data analysis process, consisting of the following:

Analysis

Step 1: Defining Questions

• Does an increase in COVID-19 vaccinations lead to a decline in the COVID-19 fatality rate?
• Is the COVID-19 fatality rate higher in developing countries than in developed countries?
• Are developing countries more prone to outbreak of COVID-19 than developed countries?
• Is COVID-19 reaching the endemic stage?
